AIR FLOW
FRIDGE AND FREEZER INTERIOR COMPARTMENTS
FREEZER
The freezer evaporator is mounted just above the evaporator assembly (F). The fan draws air up
through the evaporator where it is cooled (G) and blows into the top duct panel where it is channelled
out through outlet ports (H). The air circulates around the freezer and returns through lower grille (J)
and is drawn back up through the evaporator where the process is repeated.
FRIDGE
When there is a demand for cooling in the fridge, the damper (baffle) opens allowing cooled air from
the freezer to enter via a ducting in the top left of the fridge (K). The air circulates around the fridge (M)
and returns to the freezer through the lower ducting (L). This process is repeated so long as the fridge
damper is in the open position.
