a) Water leaks causing short freeze time.

Defrost and clean the icemaker prior to diagnosing freeze-up. Fill out a freeze-up checklist.

Insufficient water line size.

water tubing or equivalent.
5. Inlet Water Valve
a)
Screen or orifice clogged.
b) Defective.
