Operation
Do not reach with your hand into the
rotating auger!
Always lock the eccentric interlock!
For road travel the auger must be
folded in and locked in place.
Filling auger (Pronto DC)
Open the transportation lid, unlock the wing
section, fold it down and lock it.
Run the tractor engine with raised speed.
Switch on the hydraulic drive on the tractor.
Switch on the hydraulic motor by the 3-way
valve.
Fill in seed through the funnel. Watch out for
foreign particles!
When filling allow the auger to run a little bit
longer, then shut down the hydraulic drive
with the 3-way valve.
Switch off the hydraulic drive on the tractor
and shut down the engine.
Place a suitable container under the wing
section to take up residues from the auger
tube.
Unlock the auger tube, fold it up and lock it.
Then close the transportation lid.
Filling auger
The filling device consists of a fixed and a move-
able auger half.
It enables simple and quick filling of the seed
hopper. It is driven by a hydraulic motor, which
is directly connected with the tractor.

Filling auger
Do not overspeed the filling auger, let
it run with max. 450 rpm and an oil flow
of approx. 55 litres.
Thoroughly clean the auger, especially after
using it with dressing or fertiliser. These agents
are aggressive and promote corrosion.
