Depth setting
The desired depth setting for the fertiliser place-
ment must be adapted to the soil conditions in
the field.
The depth of the fertiliser shares is set by the
adjustable bolt on the hydraulic cylinder. The
sticker shows the adjustment sequence.

All adjustment bolts must be inserted
in the same position.
Adjusting the fan air flow
The fan air flow is divided to both drill systems
at the seed hose.
Due to the differences in both systems (number
and length of hoses, quantity and weight dif-
ferences of the placed fertiliser quantities) the
fan air flow must be divided to both systems by
means of the adjustable air valve.
The correct division of the fan air flow must be
tested in the field under seed placement condi-
tions.
When set correctly, no seed blockage should
occur in either of the systems and no seed or
fertiliser should be blown out of the furrows or
out of the grille.

Solid fertiliser facility
With the solid fertiliser facility solid fertiliser can
be placed simultaneously by the towed machine
and the seed wagon.
Solid fertiliser facility (Pronto DC)
The distributor hose on the fan guides the air
flow to the Venturi area on the front hopper.
There the metering unit adds the fertiliser to
the air flow. In the distribution tower at the rear
of the seed hopper the fertiliser is distributed to
the shares and finally to the soil.
