Adjusting fan performance
The flow rate of the fan depends on the power
take-off speed.
The fan speed can be reduced on the excess air
flap in case of an increased amount of air.
Setting:
Let the direct drive pump run on 1000 r/min.
Release counter nuts and either tighten
or loosen the adjusting screw until the fan
reaches the nominal rotational speed.
Secure setting with the lock nut.
Fan motor (version with throttle valve not standard)
Hydraulic oil container with filter, pressure gauge
for return pressure and oil level checks.
Checks and Maintenance
Observe return pressure of max. 2 bar.
Check oil level.
Clean protective guard for fan and cooler
slats.
Clean fan blades.
Change oil and filter, if necessary.
Tighten taper lock cone on the fan shaft (see
chapter on fan impeller).
