Hitching up and adjusting the
Focus
The Focus CS is hitched up by the 3-point hitch
at the rear of the seed wagon.
The hose for the fertiliser system must be tightly
connected to the Venturi area.
When lowering, the tractor link arms are pulled
down with approx. 35 bar, whereby the machine
is additionally pressed on the ground.
The pressure can be raised to approx. 90 bar, if
required. For this purpose turn in the adjustment
screws on the hydraulic pressure control valve
(see hydraulic diagram no. 14), until the required
pressure is reached.
Depth setting:
For the purpose of depth setting, the machine
is lowered in the field, until the working depth
is reached.
Use the upper link to position the machine
horizontally (the distribution tower must be
vertical).
Fix the working height by inserting aluminium
clips at the hydraulic cylinders in the seed
wagon.
Check the depth setting again after driving a few
metres in the field.
Hitching up and adjusting the
Maistro
The Maistro 11 RC is hitched up by the 3-point
hitch at the rear of the seed wagon.
The hose for the fertiliser system must be tightly
connected to the Venturi area.
When lowering, the tractor link arms are pulled
down with approx. 35 bar, whereby the Maistro
is additionally pressed on the ground.
Tractor link arm on SW 7000 S
Depth setting:
To set the depth lower the machine in the field,
until the parallel guides maize bodies are aligned
horizontally.
Use the upper link to position the machine
horizontally (the distribution tower must be
vertical).
In case of loose soil and with hydraulic drive,
the working height can be limited downwards by
means of aluminium clips on the lift cylinders of
the seed wagon.
Check the depth setting again after driving a few
metres in the field.
The depth setting of the precision seed drill
unit is described in the Maistro RC instruction
manual.
