Parking the machine
The drill should be parked in a shed or under a
roof so that no moisture can accumulate in the,
metering unit and seed pipes.
When manoeuvring the machine,
pay attention to the surroundings. No
persons (children) are to remain in the
manoeuvring area of the machine.
Park the machine on level and solid ground,
switch off the tractor.
Secure the machine against rolling away and
unhitch it;
Disconnect hydraulic and electrical connec-
tions and hook into storage holders;
Disconnect brake lines (optional);
Rest the machine on the support;
Unhitch the machine;
Empty the seed hopper;
Clean the metering unit;
Close the hopper lid;
Keep electrical and electronic components for
the drill controls in dry rooms;
Version with pneumatic brake: Drain water
from the air reservoir and close the hose
couplings, if the machine is not used for a
longer period of time;
Thoroughly clean the machine and hopper if
dry fertiliser was used. The fertiliser is aggres-
sive and speeds up the corrosion process. It
especially attacks galvanised components like
bolts.
Assembly note for the bolt (1)
The bolt is secured with detent edged rings on
both sides.
The individual rings are provided with fine and
a coarse detents.
When assembled, the coarse detents must
face each other. The fine detents face towards
the tractor link arm or the screw heads respec-
tively.
The screws must be tightened with
1500 Nm and regularly checked for
tight fit.
