Adjusting the propshaft
Determine the operating lengths

Connect the machine to the tractor.
¾
Position machine and tractor toward each
other to achieve the smallest operating length
of the propshaft.
¾
Slide one half of the propshaft onto the PTO-
shaft of the tractor until the lock engages:

Slide the other half of the propshaft onto the
PTO-shaft of the machine and secure the lock:
¾
To adjust the length, hold both halves of the
propshaft next to each other:
¾
Mark the inner protection half of the propshaft.
In the shortest operating state the distance
to the safety funnel must be at least 40 mm:
min. 40 mm
¾
Hold the halves of the propshaft against each
other and transfer the dimension to the outer
protection half:
¾
Position the machine toward the tractor to
achieve the largest operating length of the
propshaft. Check the overlap of the propshaft
in this position. After shortening, the overlap
must be at least 200 mm.
