Switch between upper and
lower link hitching
WARNING
Danger of crushing, cutting, being caught, being
pulled in and impact caused by unintentional
dropping of the drawbar when removing the
screws. The drawbar must be secured against
dropping before loosening the screws.
¾
Have the switch between upper and lower link
hitching performed by a qualified technician
or shop.
¾
Observe the specified tightening torques.
Required tools
•
Ring spanner 24 mm, 30 mm, 36 mm with
extension, if necessary
•
Torque wrench 1000 Nm
•
Tools to secure the drawbar against dropping,
e.g. tripod trestle, crane or similar
•
new wedged lock washers (22 pcs.)
1. Parking the machine.
2. Secure the drawbar against dropping.
3. Remove the screws for drawbar fastening.
4. Align the drawbar to upper or lower link
hitching.
5. Use new wedged lock washers.
6. Install the screws for drawbar fastening
again and tighten uniformly, tightening torque
1000 ± 50 Nm.
7. Loosen the screws for fastening the connec-
tion mechanism.
8. Align the connection mechanism horizontally
to the tractor.
9. Use new wedged lock washers.
10. Install the screws for fastening the connec-
tion mechanism again and tighten uniformly,
tightening torque 1000 ± 50 Nm.

NOTE
¾
The connection mechanism must always be
fastened with 3 screws! Only then is a draw-
bar load of 2000 kg possible.
¾
Check the screws of the drawbar and con-
nection mechanism fastening regularly for
firm seating.
