Safety precautions
This section provides precautions for using the product safely and correctly and to prevent
injury and damage. The terms of DANGER, WARNING, and CAUTION indicate the degree of
imminency and hazardous situation. Read the precautions carefully as it contains important
safety messages.
WARNING
Ensure to perform grounding for the GND terminal of power cable, or it may cause electric shock.
This product is not an explosion-proof instrument. It is not possible to use it in an environment of
inflammable gas, explosive gas, or inflammable dusts to avoid death or fire accidents.
CAUTION
The weight of the detector is approx. 11 kg (main unit: approx. 9.8 kg, accessory cable: approx.1.4
kg).
Do not give strong impact to the detector, or it may damage the window glass, resulting in injuries or
product malfunction.
Power supply specification of detector: 100 V AC


Avoid supply from the power with noise or large voltage fluctuation.
Provide a safety countermeasure such as a breaker.
In reflecting the laser light to any other thing than the detector for a test purpose, do not direct it to the
person.
If the laser light goes into eyes for a long period of time, it could cause decrease in the eyesight.
