Main function

Brief explanation of the functions
Reflection level diagnosis and instrumental error judgment
Oil film detection, reflection level error and instrumental errors are judged and the result will be
displayed on the monitor display and the contacts are activated.
Two contacts output; “oil film detection”, and “reflection level error instrumental errors”

Oil film detection

When 0

is set to the detection area (factory default setting);
Detection is given when the light reflection level exceeds the detection level, and when
the continuous judgment time passes.
If the detection area is set to 0

, oil film of trace volume can be detected.

When 10

or more is set to the detection area;
Detection is given when the detection area which laser light reflection level is over the set
detection level exceeds the detection area setting, and when the continuous judgment
time passes.
If the detection area is set to 10

or more, detection according to the size of the detection
area is possible.

Detection level error

When setting the detection of lower limit error (LOW LEVEL) to valid;
The lower limit error is output when the detection area is no water (no reflection) status or
when a reflection-less object such as debris is accumulated on the detection area for 30
seconds (fixed) or more.

When setting the detection of lower limit error (LOW LEVEL) to invalid;
No judgment on the lower limit error (reflection-less state) is given, in regardless of the
condition of detection area.

For upper limit error (HIGH LEVEL) (abnormal reflection light);
The upper limit error is output when a strong reflective material such as aluminum
remains for 30 seconds or more.

Instrument error
The instrument error (SYSTEM ERROR) is output on the following conditions.

When the rotation of the motor stops.

When the luminescence of the laser stops.

When the temperature error occurs inside the detector.
