Area detection function
The area detection function performs judgment by the rate of the oil film present on the
detection area.
Alarm output can be avoided in a case where a trace oil film always floats on the water
surface.

Setting step

Set the area detection setting value to 10

or more (10

to 90

) to activate the area
detection.

Set the detection area (warning, alarm) within the range from 0

to 90

.
Ensure the following: [Detection area (WARNING)

Detection area (ALARM)].

Set the detection area by referring to the value of detection level monitor in the test mode.
(Fig. 2 shows an example of area detection setting step.)

The factory default setting is as follows.
Detection area (WARNING): 0


If the detection area is set to 0

, it is possible to detect the oil film of trace volume.

