Installing detector
For installing the detector, use our optional stand, or prepare a stand by customer’s
arrangement. At production, refer to the “ Dimensional outline drawing ” (page 63) as well as
the following “Note in production”.

Use a steel material that can withstand the weight of approx. 11kg (including the
accessory cable of approx. 1.4 kg).

Prepare a hole for mounting bolt enabling to adjust the tilting angle of detector installation
by


in backward/forward, right/left.
The detector mounting height (L) from the water surface is 0.3 m to 4 m (for the still-water
surface 1: max.6 m). The detector is ideally to be installed from the distance of approx.
1.5 m.

For lightning surge prevention, ensure to ground the cabinet and the stand.

For preventive measures of rain and wind, attach the shading hood to the fixed lower ring
section by referring to the hood shape example.

Installation example using stand
Fig. 16 is an installation example in using the optional stand.
Temporarily fix the detector to the stand, place the supplied level on the upper lid of the
detector or on the display box, and adjust the bolts A, B to confirm the horizontal degree of the
detector.
When the detector installation is completed, ground the stand for lightning surge prevention.
