Selenia Systems
For each Selenia system, enter the Device Serial Number. You can acquire it from the
acquisition workstation as described below.
Device Serial Number Example:
H1KRHR835b6e0f

The first six characters are usually ‘H1KRHR’ and appear in uppercase.
•
The last eight characters are hexadecimal digits and must be lowercase. Only 0–9 and
a–f are allowed.
Origin / How to Get It
: The last eight characters are the hexadecimal output of running
the ‘hostid’ command on the acquisition workstation computer. This output is the host
ID of the workstation. The Selenia system populates its DICOM headers with the string
‘hostid #’ in the Device Serial Number tag (0018, 1000).
Selenia Dimensions Systems
For each Selenia Dimensions

system, enter the Device Serial Number.
Device Serial Number Example:

Origin/How to Get It
: This number is the Serial Number listed in the Selenia Dimensions
Service Tool page.
Note
Do not enter ‘H1KRHR’ in front of the Device Serial Number for Selenia Dimensions
systems.
GE Systems
Detector ID Example:
PM123_01
•
The first two characters are usually ‘PM’ and appear in uppercase.
•
The last six characters appear as three numbers, an underscore, with two numbers
that follow (123_01).
Origin / How to Get It
: This number is the Detector ID from the acquisition workstation.
GE populates their DICOM headers with this value in the Detector ID tag (0018, 700A).
