Hog Arm Slide Track
The Hog Arm is mounted to a special chassis plate
that rides on heavy duty rollers and a track on the
front of the skid. Quick release T-handle lock pins
secure the slide track and arm assembly in the
selected position. The Hog Arm and slide track
are slid IN with the arm flush to the chassis for
transport and slid OUT to the work position on the
job site to provide the clearance to lower the Hog
Arm and blasting head to the pavement. In the
work position, the arm and blasting head are in
full view of the operator.
Refer to the Operation section for additional in-
structions on operating the Hog Arm slide track
system.
CAUTION
THE HOG HEAD WILL FALL BACK AGAINST THE AUXILIARY
ENGINE WITH ENOUGH FORCE TO SEvERELY DAMAGE
THE HOG HEAD AND ENGINE COMPONENTS IF THE HOG
ARM IS RAISED TO THE FULL UP POSITION WITHOUT
THE BLASTING HEAD ARTICULATION HINGE SAFETY
PIN INSTALLED. ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE HOG HEAD
ARTICULATION HINGE SAFETY PIN IS INSTALLED BEFORE
RAISING HOG ARM TO THE FULL UP POSITION.
