5.6 Data detection mode
5.6.1 Manual Mode
5.6.1.1 Width Manual Entry
• Manual measurement with gauge for steel rims
( Figure 5-11 ) or data acquisition from the rim.
• From the control panel, select the width ( W ). The last
entered value is displayed.
• To edit the value, press keys + / - ( 1, 2, Figure 5-12 ).
• Type in Enter by selecting key 3 ( Figure 5-12 ).
5.6.1.2 Distance Manual Entry
• Correctly position measuring arm 1 ( Figure 5-13 ) and
read the value from the scale on the measuring
armrod.
• From the control panel, select the distance ( O ). The
last entered value is displayed.
• To edit the value, press keys + / - ( 1, 2, Figure 5-12 ).
• Type in Enter by selecting key 3 ( Figure 5-12 ).
5.6.1.3 Diameter Manual Entry
• Acquire rim nominal diameter by reading the value
on the rim or on the tyre.
• From the control panel, select the diameter ( D ). The
last entered value is displayed.
• To edit the value, press keys + / - ( 1, 2, Figure 5-12 ).
• Type in Enter by selecting key 3 ( Figure 5-12 ).
