Step 3:
Shift the CRC register one bit to the right (toward the LSB), and fill
the MSB with 0;
Step 4:
If the shifted bit is 0, save the new value of step 3 to CRC register;
otherwise, execute XOR operation with A001H and CRC register,
and save the result in CRC register;
Step 5:
Repeat step3~4 until 8 shifts have been performed.
Step 6:
Repeat step2~5 for the next 8-bit message command. Continue doing
this until all messages have been processed. The final content of
CRC register is the CRC value.
Note:
When the 16-bit CRC is transmitted in the message, the
low-order byte will be transmitted first, followed by the high-order
byte.
