method or procedure which could lead to personal injury
or damage to the machine, material or other property.

2. Description
The WSC255-KE / WSC265-KE is an electrically pow-
ered hand-held tool designed for the sawing of wood,
plastics and composite materials by professional users.
The following items are supplied: power tool with saw
blade, operating instructions, pivoting chip ejector and
toolbox.
Correct use
●
The tool is designed for cutting through, cutting
grooves and cutting into wood, wood-like materials,
plaster- and cement-bonded fibre materials (no asbestos)
and plastics.

The working environment may be on a construction
site or in a workshop and may consist of renovation,
conversion or new building work.
●
The working environment should be dry.
●
The tool may be operated only when connected to
a power supply providing a voltage and frequency in
compliance with the information given on the type plate.
●
When using the tool, the workpiece must be secured
to prevent movement and the operator must work from
a secure stance.
●
Sawing metals is not permissible.
●
The tool may be operated only when held and guid-
ed by both hands.
●
No changes or modifications may be made to the
tool and its protective equipment and it must not be
manipulated in any way other than as described in the
operating instructions.
●
To avoid the risk of injury, always use only Hilti orig-
inal accessories.
●
Do not make use of incorrect accessories (e.g. the
wrong circular saw blade, the wrong extraction con-
nector or the wrong type of vacuum cleaner).
●
Do not use the tool for cutting branches off trees or
for cutting logs.
Observe the information given in the operating instruc-
tions concerning operation, care and maintenance.
Conditions to be fulfilled by the user

The tool is designed for professional use.
●
The tool may be operated, maintained and repaired
by authorised, trained personnel only. The operating
personnel must be specially informed regarding the
applicable hazards.
