Locking screw lengths
• Antenna extension: M6 × 10 (quantity: 1 per each segment of the antenna extension)

Procedure 1: How to attach an antenna extension

Remove the O-rings from the plastic sachet supplied with the device. Put an O-ring

into the
groove at the top of each antenna extension.

Attach the antenna extensions

below the flange. Use a 36 mm open-end wrench to tighten
each antenna extension. Make sure that the antenna extensions
1
fully engaged.

Tighten the locking screw

on each antenna extension with a 3 mm Allen wrench.

Attach the antenna

. Tighten the antenna.

Make sure the antenna extensions

and the antenna
2
are fully engaged.

Use a 3 mm Allen wrench to tighten the locking screws

. NOTE: The antenna has 3 locking
screws.
i If the antenna extension is supplied with the device, it is not necessary to change the device
settings. End of the procedure.

If the antenna extension is supplied after delivery of the device, it is necessary to change the
device settings. Do the procedure that follows.
Procedure 2: Device settings for a device with an antenna extension
• Push 2 × [>>>>], 2 × [ ] and [>>>>] to go to menu item Login Login Login Login.
• Enter the hexadecimal password (default password: 0058).
• Push 2 × [

decrease the value or [ ] to increase the value.
i Each antenna extension is 105 mm long. If the device has 3 antenna extensions, they have a
total length of 315 mm. In this example, enter the value "315".
• If you changed the antenna extension value, also change the blocking distance value. Push
