Insert the batteries in the receiver
Position the receiver with its back facing you and turn
the belt clip in the direction of the arrow. Using a suitable
slot screwdriver (not included in delivery), loosen the
screw on the battery compartment cover. Push the bat-
tery compartment cover downward and remove. Insert
the three enclosed micro batteries (AAA), observing the
polarity (+/-), into the recesses (see enclosure design).
Replace the battery compartment cover in reverse se-
quence.
5.2
Charging the receiver batteries
Before initial use, the batteries supplied for the receiver
must be fully charged.
Attention! Use only list rechargeable batterites come
with product (GP75AAAHC). You cannot use conventional
AAA micro batteries in the receiver. Danger of explosion
if batteries are replaced incorrectly!
1. To charge the batteries, fi rst plug the mains adapter
of the charger into the mains (fi rst check that the
voltage on the nameplate of the mains adapter corre-
sponds to your mains voltage).
2. When you have plugged the mains adapter into the
mains and the receiver (switched off) is positioned in
the charger, charging starts automatically. The red
fl ashing operating light indicates charging. When the
receiver is switched on, the operating light alternately
fl ashes green and orange.
3. If the batteries are completely fl at and the device is
switched off, charging takes about 6 hours. Charging
time is doubled if the receiver is switched on during
charging.
4. When the device is switched off after successful
charging the operating light is red. When the receiver
is switched on, the operating light is orange. After
charging, the device can remain in the charger.

Start-up
6.1
Starting the transmitter
1. To guarantee optimal transmission, place the trans-
mitter upright in the room to be monitored. The face
of the device should, if possible, face the person
(e. g. your baby) to be monitored. Ensure further-
more that sounds reach the transmitter unobstruct-
ed.
Notes! For reasons of safety and optimal sound
transmission, we recommend a minimum distance
of one meter between the transmitter and the baby.
Never place the transmitter in the cot, the child’s bed
or in the playpen!
2. Plug the enclosed mains adapter into the mains
socket of the transmitter and the mains (fi rst check
The MBF 9050 is ideal for monitoring small children,
babies or persons in need of care.
This digital baby call system operates with the DECT
standard and as such offers you the convenience of
crystal clear voice quality without annoying cables
and interfering CB or amateur radio up to a range
of 300 m (under ideal conditions). The baby call de-
vice also has a talkback function to comfort your
baby from a distance.
The transmitter is operated by means of the en-
closed mains adapter. You can operate the receiv-
er mains- independent, using the three enclosed
AAA micro batteries which you can charge with the
charger.
