4. On the Device tab of the Navigation Properties box, enter the IP
address of the frame that holds the module. (See Figure 2-6 .)

5. In the third field, enter the slot number of the module, and then
close the window.
You can now continue upgrading your device’s firmware, starting with
step 3 of
“Upgrading the Firmware” on page 13.
Correcting a Failed Upgrading Procedure
Firmware upgrades may fail in the event of network interruptions,
power failures, or if files were sent to the wrong 6800
+
module.
CAUTION
Do not make changes in the last field (located above
and to the right of the Set Default button.) Making
changes to this field could cause loss of
communication between the module and your CCS
software. If communication is lost, you will need to
rediscover the module.
