MediaStore 5100 and 5000 series drive carrier components
The front of a drive carrier module consists of an anti-tamper lock, a drive latch, a Drive Status LED and
Drive Activity LED.

Component
Description
Drive Latch
The Drive Latch releases the carrier handle, allowing you to remove and
install the Drive Carrier Module. When the Anti-Tamper Lock is off, pinch
the latch to release.
Anti-Tamper Lock
Each Drive Carrier has an integral Anti-Tamper Lock that is accessed
through the small cutout in the handle. Use a “toRX” socket security key
to lock and unlock the handle. One security key is included with your
MediaStore.
Drive Activity LED
In normal operation, the Drive Carrier Module Drive Activity LED (Green)
will blink as it operates.
Please note that the Drive Activity LED also works in association with the
Drive Status LED, as well as the LEDs on the Operator Panel.
Drive Status LED
In normal operation, the Drive Carrier Module Drive Status LED (Amber)
has three states:
• Off: no drive is present, or drive is present and operating.
• On: drive fault.
