2.3 Communication Loop Parameters 

2.3.1 RS485 Communication Loop 

  NETWORK (even I+, I-, O+, O-): Communication cable for connecting with up to 32 

network FACPs. (I+ corresponds to B2, I- corresponds to A2, O+ corresponds to B1, 

O- corresponds to A1. A1, B1 are to be connected with A2 and B2 of the next FACP, 

and A2, B2 to A1 and B1 of the previous FACP.) 

  P-9945A RS485 Network Card Loop Type is optional.  

  REPEATER  (If  the  REPEATER  card  is  inserted  to 

“COM  BOARD”  position,  it 

corresponds  to  REPEATER  (A,  B);  if  REPEATER  card  is  inserted  to 

“LOOP

 

BOARD

” position, it corresponds to the odd O+, O-, in which, O+ corresponds to B, 

O- corresponds to A).
