assigned to a programme position. Per-
form this setting as described in chapter

a recording for Saturday or Sunday,
which is not possible.

6.2 Record Programming
with ShowView
Interrupting the record stand-by mode of the
recorder
If you have programmed TIMER positions but wish to use the
recorder while it is in record stand-by mode, or you want to
terminate the TIMER recording, then:
press the
>
button and the cassette is automatically
press the

(TIMER) button on the remote control.
The TIMER data disappear from the display on the recorder,
the TIMER symbol flashes, and the data are retained.
Now execute the desired function.
Reactivating the record stand-by mode of the
recorder
Insert a cassette with sufficient playing time, wait until the
tape measurement is completed, and then press the
¶
ON/OFF
(TIMER) button.
The cassette number briefly appears in the recorder´s display.

instead of the cassette number, you must enter the number if
you want to archive the cassette.

The recorder automatically stores » DIVERSE « as the catego-
ry in the archive, as well as the station identification abbrevia-
tion and the start time as title, when the recording starts.
After the recording is completed, you can enter the title of
your choice and assign it to a category; see pages 39 through
42, section “Information on Cassette Contents”.
Checking the occupied TIMER positions in the
recorder
Press the
z
button repeatedly until the desired TIMER
data appear in the recorder´s display. Press the

to conclude.
Clearing an occupied TIMER position in the
recorder
Select the desired TIMER position by pressing the

ton repeatedly until the TIMER data appear in the recorder´s
