Using RFID codes
RFID-Codes are located on RFID labels (TAG).
You can scan a RFID code for each new dictation.
The detected codes are stored in the header of the
DSS file in the "Topic" field, and thus displayed in the
accompanying note of the dictation. Other software that
evaluates the DSS-Header (for example a data base
system) can classify the dictations according to the
scanned codes.
The detected codes are displayed by the PC software
included with the portable dictation machine and by the
transcription software:
– in the overview of the accompanying note for the
dictation (see also "Dictation acompanying note" in
the program help)
– in the dictation list ( if the „Topic” field is enabled, see
"Sorting" in the program help).
Connecting and removing the RFID reader
The same procedure is used as with barcode read-
er DigtaScan 404. See chapter "Plugging in" and
"Unplugging".
