Foot control*
The » Foot control « function allows you to select whether
the foot control is used for transcription station mode or
hands-free dictating.
•
Use the up-down button »▲« or »▼« to select the
» Settings « menu item and then press the » OK « button.
•
Use the up-down button »▲« or »▼« to select the
» Foot control « menu item.
• Press the » OK « button.
•
Press »▲« or »▼« to select »
Record « or » Play-back «.
Foot control assignment during recording
The pedals on the foot control are designed for hands
free dictating.
Left pedal
– Rewind;
Middle pedal
– Press briefly to switch recording on or off;
– Hold down (approx. 1.5 seconds) for a new dicta-
tion. The red recording indicator lights up, a new
dictation name, i.e. »
DICT002
« appears;
Right pedal
– Start/stop recording and play-back.
Note:
Select the fast forward function using the »

button on the dictation machine.
