Deleting an entire dictation
• Move the slide switch to » «.
• Select the desired dictation with the up-down button
» DICT+ _ «.
• Press the » MENU « button.
– The first menu function » Delete « appears in the dis-
play.

• Press the » OK « button.
– » Delete DICT002? « appears, for example, in the dis-
play.
• Press the » OK « button to confirm or press » ESC «, if the
dictation shall not be deleted.
Note:
If several dictations need to be deleted, connect the
dictation machine to the PC and delete them using the
PC software. When all dictations are deleted, there is
still administration data in the internal memory or on the
external memory card. Not all of the memory capacity
of the internal memory / memory card is available for
recording dictations.
Deleting a part of a dictation
• Use the up-down » DICT+ _ « button to select the desired
dictation.
• Press the » MENU « button.
– The » Delete « menu function appears in the menu.
• Press the » OK « button and then the » PART « button.
