Overview of the menu settings
• Press the MENU « button and then use the up-down
button »▲« or »▼« to select the » Settings « menu item
and confirm with the » OK « button.
You can select the following settings:
– Play-back

Selects the function of the mid-
dle button (speed or index) during
play-back.
– Voice activ. Voice activation. Recording is
automatically interrupted when the
speaker pauses.
– Mic. sensitivity Sets the sensitivity of the micro-
phone.
– PC microphone Activates the dictation machine
as a microphone (without record-
ing) when it is connected to a PC
sound card. This function is used
for speaker training and direct dic-
tation with a speech recognition
system.
– Power off Selects manual or automatic shut-
down.
