Format
The » Format « function is used to format the internal
memory or the external memory card. All existing data is
deleted.
•
Use the up-down button »▲« or »▼« to select the
» Format « menu item.
• Press the » OK « button.
– » Format memory? « appears in the display.
Note:
Make sure an external memory card is plugged in if you
don't want to delete the internal memory.
•
Press the »
OK
« button.
Directories and files with administrative data are created
in the internal memory or the external memory card. For
this reason not the entire memory capacity is available for
recording dictations.
Note:
The internal memory card and the external memory
card may not be formatted as a removable disk with a
PC formatting function.
