Menu 03 – Extension Setting Extension Span
WARNING!
BEFORE EXTENDING THE BOOM, MAKE SURE THE AREA AROUND THE CRANE IS
STABLE AND SAFE. MANY CRANES WILL TIP OVER IF THE BOOM IS EXTENDED
HORIZONTALLY!!
1. Press the
Span Extension? = XX.XX
button.
2. Fully extend the boom and then enter the value for the span. (Extended Boom - Retracted
Boom = Span)
3. Use the buttons adjacent to the numerical values at the bottom of the window to scroll left or
right and highlight each number. Use the
Enter Sensor Span
button to enter the number in the
brackets.
4. When complete, the menu will automatically change to 03 Extension Sensor menu. To exit the
routine and go to the main menu, press the
Exit
button.
