Marker Disk Adjustment
Sharp Object Hazard:
Use caution when making adjustments in this area. Marker
disks may be sharp.
Mark Width
is the direction of travel.
To change angle of cut, and the width of the mark, loosen

inch bolts
holding the disk assembly.
For a wider mark
, increase the angle of the marker
with respect to the tube
. For a narrower mark
,
reduce the angle.
Tighten bolts
.
Direction of Cut
To have the marker throw dirt out, invert the disk on the
spindle, and invert the disk assembly.
Marker Chain Adjustment
If marker fails to reach ground when unfolded, or is
skipping field depressions, the chain is too short.
If marker drags across ground for more than 12 inches
(30 cm) before lifting, the chain length is too long.
1. Unfold marker.
2. Remove take-up bolt
.
3. Re-insert bolt to obtain a chain length of
approximately 63 inches (160 cm). Tighten bolt.
4. Fold, unfold and re-fold marker to validate new chain
length.
5. Thread bolt in (up) until head is flush with inside jam
nut and both are flush with inside of channel.
6. Slowly fold marker while observing disk. If marker
disk drags across ground more than 12 inches
(30 cm) before lifting, the chain is too long.
