Seat does not move up (seat does not
respond when pulling the lever for seat height
adjustment).
• Level control is defective.
• Handle support for seat height
adjustment is defective.
• Air spring is leaky.
• Button for quick lowering of the seat is
engaged.
Check leveling valve and level control
(Chapter 2.4, inspection steps 1.1
and 2.1).
Replace the handle support for seat
height adjustment (see Chapter 3.9).
Check the air spring (Chapter 2.4,
step no. 3.1).
Press down the button for quick
lowering of the seat until it is
released.
Seat does not move down (seat does not
respond when pushing the lever for seat
height adjustment).
• Exhaust air cannot escape
(e.g. air exhaust hose is squeezed).
• Bowden pull wire for seat height
adjustment is not correctly adjusted.
• Bowden pull wire for seat height
adjustment is torn.
• Level control is defective.
Replace the air hose set
(see Chapter 3.22).
Check the Bowden pull wire for seat
height adjustment and adjust it, if
necessary (see Chapter 3.8).
Replace the Bowden pull wire for
seat height adjustment
(see Chapter 3.9).
Check leveling valve and level control
(Chapter 2.4, inspection steps 1.1
and 2.1).
