Appendix H: Manufacturing a VACIE / Rack building

ECU – PA audio connection:
The shield (GND) of the audio line cable between ECU and PA should only be connected to the
ECU; leave the GND wire disconnected on the PA line inputs.

ECU error inputs:
Connect below component error output contacts to the following ECU error inputs:

ECU Mains error input:
•  PA – 230 VAC error contact (NO / when powered from 230 VAC & 48 VDC)
•  C48 – 230 VAC error contact (NO / when powered from 230 VAC)
•  circuit breaker error contacts, if used (NO when circuit breaker set to ON)

ECU C48 error input:
• C48 – 48 VDC input error contact (NO / when batteries are connected & charged)
• C48 – 48 VDC output error contact (NO / when 48 VDC is present on DC outputs)

ECU External error input:
• PA – fault relay error contact (NO / when internal PSU(’s) and amplifier modules are OK)
• Redundancy module – error contacts (NO)
