Appendix H: Manufacturing a VACIE / Rack building

Rack ventilation:
Forced air flow is used to cool down the VACIE, maintaining an internal temperature of around 21°C.

Below pictures show the installation and location of fans & thermostat, blind panels and the
order of component to be mounted, ensuring optimal airflow. The fan(s) needs to be connected
to 1 of the 5 A connections of the eXentro C48 Charger; when AC mains is disconnected, the
fan(s) still operate from battery power. The air flow of the fan is indicated with an arrow on its
housing; make sure to mount the fan in the right direction.
