Installation & Setup Guide
Jumpers
The NTM-T1 module (revision T- and above) provides signal reflection control for improved signal
integrity. This capability requires setting the
X16
jumper to correspond to the position of the card
in the primary (
PRI
) or secondary (
SEC
) NTM slots in the chassis.
•
Set
X16
jumper at
PRI
(pins 1-2) for a single NTM-T1 in a nonredundant
arrangement, or for the primary NTM-T1 in a redundant arrangement.
•
Set
X16
jumper at
SEC
(pins 2-3) for the secondary NTM-T1 in a redundant
arrangement.

Cabling
The NTM-DS1 uses 100 ohm shielded twisted pair each for transmit and receive, following
law.
The maximum insertion loss is 2.8 db at 772 kHz. The cables terminate with male DB15 connectors.
lists pinout designations for the front panel connectors.
