Interface Port Descriptions
Ethernet (LAN) Ports
(Interface “B” in Figure 2-1 )
At the SC-SDT device, one Ethernet interface connector is provided at the lower RJ48C connector
located on the shelf rear panel (J33-J48). This Ethernet port provides 10/100BASE-T Ethernet
connectivity and requires RJ45-to-RJ45 straight-thru or crossover cables (GDC S-078H010-XXX
or S-078H011-XXX). The table below describes Ethernet port pinouts. Note that the Ethernet port
can be used as a logical uplink port to SpectraComm Ethernet Switches, SpectraComm IP cards or
other hub/bridge devices.
