When the start time is reached, the survey begins.

NOTE:

The start time indicates the beginning of the survey and NOT the time of the first
reading. Depending on the selected cycling rate the time of the first reading of the
file is delayed. Furthermore, to preserve the battery the GPS module is turned off
while waiting for a program start. If GPS is enabled, the unit turns on GPS and
waits for GPS lock and UTC synchronization. This imposes a further delay on the
time required for the first reading.

At the stop time, the unit stops cycling, turns off GPS if enabled, closes the current file and waits
for the start time the next day.

The daily survey loop can only be stopped by pressing

1C

either while taking readings or while

waiting for the start time.

I.4 USING THE FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING FEATURE

The flexible scheduling feature lets you store up to 30 schedules each with date and time for the
start and the date and time to stop the surveys.
