APPENDIX I: PROGRAMMABLE BASE OPTION
The programmable base feature allows full control over the base surveys. It is particularly useful for
remote or unattended base stations.
By programming or scheduling the base, you can determine when the surveys begin and end hours,
days or years in advance. This result in a more efficient use of batteries or other available power
sources, and also avoids storing in memory hours or days-worth of unwanted data. Because a new
file is created every time a base survey starts, each schedule has its own file.
