6. E-test
E-Test option of GPS menu allows seeing actual positioning solution provided by GPS regardless
of how GPS initialized.
Screen
#9
First line of screen #9 is empty.
Second line consists of status ‘S’-no differential, ‘C’-CDGPS, ‘W’-SBAS and ‘O’-OmniSTAR
solution, date and time. (If GPS initialized for OmniSTAR without subscription, letter ‘O’ will be
visible on the screen but positioning provided will not be up to specified).
Third line UTM zone, UTM coordinates and elevation in meters above sea level.
Fourth line Local Grid Coordinates
Fifth line Rotated Grid Coordinates
Six line shows standard deviation of Easting, Northing and Height in meters.
Seventh line shows selected datum.
Bottom line has Latitude and Longitude along with number of satellites being tracked at the
moment.
Pressed ‘F’ button will lead to GPS menu.
7. Change of Datum.
Factory default geodetic datum for OEMV-1 is WGS84.
Operator can select from 86 available Datum’s.
