Using the Rotated Grid allows you to have an arbitrary origin that you define, and the coordinates
always in reference to axes parallel to the grid. In short, your grid determines the map and not the
NS direction.
The Local Grid is a scaled down, local version of the UTM system, and it is based on your own
arbitrary origin. It allows you to use smaller numbers or at least relevant to your origin or your grid.
To set the automatic grid first define the width of the lane

2, 5, 10, 20, 25, 50
units. Press
C-change
to toggle between these
values and
F-ok
to accept.
To define the grid, enter all the parameters sequentially as they are requested using
F-ok
to accept
or
C-change
to change, the digit keys
0 to 9
for the numbers,
A
for the decimal point and
D
as
backspace for corrections.
