The line number would have to be set to the same value of the Y coordinate of the origin in order to
conform to your grid origin setting. This number will default even if you change it.

You must choose an appropriate line spacing and enter it. After the last value is entered the unit
returns to the GPS menu.

To proceed with the survey, press

. The unit returns to the main menu. Set the survey mode,

cycling rate, and the other survey parameters in the usual way.

NOTE that the options for the positioning system are not the same as the previous Line and Station
or XY. Options that were added in v7.0 include:

The data is stored with UTC time as the time stamp and the position in the units of the selected
system.
