For 100 column:

Flush the adapter downflow with 20% ethanol to ensure that the adapter and
tubing are filled with liquid and free from air.

Place a new bed support in the snap ring. Fit the bed support and snap ring
assembly onto the distributor. Ensure that the bed support is in contact with the
distributor all around the circumference.

Check that the snap ring is correctly and evenly mounted around the
whole circumference of the distributor.
