10.6 

Junction Box Harnesses

Symptom

Potential Causes / Solutions

It is difficult to connect the 

Junction Box Harness connectors

1.  Verify that the connectors are aligned with the alignment 

marks on the sockets. Reference Section 4.5 and Section 

4.6 for information on connecting the Junction Box 

Harnesses.

2.  Inspect the connectors for damage. If the connectors are 

damaged, contact Galil Medical Customer Service. Do not 

use a damaged Junction Box Harness.

It is difficult to loosen the Junction 

Box Harness gas connection hub

The gas lines were not vented and the gas lines are still under 

pressure.

WARNING. Do not apply excessive force to release the 

Junction Box Harness gas connection hub. The gas lines 

may still be under pressure.

 

•

Verify that the gas cylinders are CLOSED.

 

•

If the Visual-ICE MRI System is OFF, turn on the system 

and wait thirty seconds for the system to automatically 

vent.

 

•

If the Visual-ICE MRI System is ON, end the procedure and 

vent the system using the automatic vent function. 

 

•

Upon completion, close the Manual Vent Valve.

 

•

Contact Galil Medical Customer Service.

It is difficult to disconnect the 

Junction Box Harness connectors

Reference Section 7.1 for information on disconnecting the 

Junction Box Harnesses.

Mobile Connection Panel

Symptom

Potential Causes / Solutions

It is difficult to move the Mobile 

Connection Panel

Verify that all Wheel Lock Levers are unlocked. Reference 

Figure 2-9 in Section 2.2.3.

The Gas Pressure Indicator LED 

is not lit

1.  Ensure the Junction Box Harnesses are connected. 

Reference Section 4.5 and Section 4.6 for information on 

connecting the Junction Box Harnesses.

2.  Ensure the system is powered on.
3.  Contact Galil Medical Customer Service

The Test Channel 8 button does 

not respond

1.  Verify that there is a needle in channel 8 and that the 

locking bar is engaged.

2.  Press the 

Test 

button for channel 8 on the Console

3.  Verify that the system is powered on.
4.  Verify that the Junction Box Harnesses are connected. 

Reference Section 4.5 and Section 4.6 for information on 

connecting the Junction Box Harnesses.

5.  Contact Galil Medical Customer Service.
