10. Remove all needles from the patient.
WARNING. Do not unlock the locking bar for any needle channel if the GAS Pressure
Indicator LED is solid white. Unlocking the locking bars when the channels are under
pressure could result in forceful ejection of the needle connectors.
11. Unlock the locking bar(s) and remove all needles from the Needle Interface. Cut needles from the
tubing.
12. Dispose of used needles in a biohazard container in accordance with hospital and safety
regulations.
13. When the procedure is complete, press the End Procedure button on the
Procedure Screen
.

• Confirmationtoendtheprocedure–Pressthe
Yes
button to end the procedure.

Requesttosaveareport–Pressthe Yes button to save a report. Reference Section 5.3 for
more information on reports.

Requesttoautomaticallyventthehigh-pressuregas–Pressthe Yes button to automatically
vent the system. The system prompts you to close the gas supplies before venting. The
automatic venting takes approximately 1 1/2 minutes. Before initiating automatic venting,
warn others in the vicinity to expect a venting noise.
CAUTION. If the needles are still connected, do not unlock the channels or disconnect the
needles from the Needle Interface while venting is in process.
14. If you are ready to shutdown the system, reference Section 7.1 for the system shutdown
procedure.
5.3 Reports
At any time during a procedure, press the Report button on the Procedure Screen to view a summary
of the report information that has been saved up to that point.
At the end of a cryoablation procedure, a report summarizing the complete procedure can be saved
to the system and exported for use on a personal computer.
1. Press the Report button on the
Procedure Screen

2. When viewing a report, scroll through the report using the scroll bar on the right-hand side of the
screen, or select a section to view by pressing the report section name on the left-hand side of
the screen.
3. Press the Export Report buttontosavethereporttotheGalilMedicalUSBflashdrive.Awindow
appearsforyoutoselectthefileformatandfilename.Enterthefilenameusingtheonscreen
virtual keyboard.
