Faults – what to do?
Generally, faults are easy to remedy. Please read the
notes in the table before calling Customer Service.

has occurred in the power supply.

sales service.

The control panel is damp or an object is
covering it.
Dry the control panel or remove the object.

Wait until the electronics have cooled down sufficiently.

A hot pot is in the area of the control
panel. There is a risk that the electronics
will overheat.
Remove the pot. The fault display goes out shortly after-
wards. You can continue to cook.

panel. To protect the electronics, the
burner has been switched off.
Remove the pot. Wait a few seconds. Touch any control.
When the fault indicator goes out, you can continue to cook.

Wait until the electronics have cooled down sufficiently and
switch the burner on again.

The burner was operating for an extended
period without interruption.
The automatic safety switch-off function has been activated.

Check the fault display, to do this, touch any control. You can
continue cooking as usual with the remaining burners. Con-
tact the technical after-sales service.

The temperature sensor is overheated
and the burner was switched off.
Wait until the temperature sensor has cooled off sufficiently
before activating the function again.

The temperature sensor is overheated
and all burners were switched off.
If the temperature sensor is not being used, remove it from
the cookware and keep it far away from other burners and
heat sources. Switch the burners on again.

The battery in the temperature sensor is
dead.
Change the battery 3V CR2032. See section "Changing the
battery."
“‰ƒ‹†
The temperature sensor is no longer con-
nected.
Switch the function off and then on again.
“‰ƒ‹‡
The temperature sensor is broken/defec-
tive.
Contact the technical after-sales service.
The temperature sensor
display does not light up.
The temperature sensor does not react
and the display does not light up.
Change the battery 3V CR2032. See section "Changing the
battery."
If this does not solve the problem, press and hold the symbol
on the temperature sensor for 8 seconds and then recon-
nect the temperature sensor to the cooktop.
If the problem still persists, contact the technical after-sales
service.
Do not place hot pans on the control panel.
