CHAPTER 9 I/O PORT

As with input port, when a pin jointly used for LCD is used as another peripheral function
input,configure it as an input port.
•
When a PDR register is read, the value of the pin can be read, regardless of whether the peripheral
function uses an input pin. Note, however, that for read-modify-write commands, the value of the PDR
register is read.

Behavior during LCDC segment output
•
Sets the DDR register bit corresponding to the LCDC segment output pin to "0".
•
Prohibit output in pins jointly used by other peripheral functions.
•
In the LCDC enable registers (LCDCE 1 to 6), select all common pins and segment pins you will use.

Operation of the input level selection register
•
Writing "1" to the bit0 of ILSR3 changes Port B from the hysteresis input level to the automotive input
level. When the bit0 of ILSR3 is "0", it should be the hysteresis input level.
Table 9.9-4 shows the pin states of the port
SPL: Pin state specification bit in standby control register (STBC:SPL)
Hi-Z: High impedance
*: "Input enabled" means that the input function is enabled; it requires selecting the pull-up/pull-down option, or external
inputs. Same as other ports when used as an output port.
