Basic Operation
1. Inserting Power Supply into Splicer
For AC operation, use the AC adapter (ADC-10) with the DC adapter (DCA-02) installed
in the splicer. For battery operation, use the detachable battery (BTR-07). The Power Unit
Dock, located on the splicer body, can accommodate both power supplies (DCA-02 and
BTR-07).

Push the power unit into the dock
and slide to engage the power unit
lock.
1-2. AC Operation
Insert the DC adapter (DCA-02) into the power unit dock and connect the AC adapter
(ADC-10) to the DC adapter.
1-3. Battery operation
Insert the battery into the power unit dock. Check and make sure the remaining battery
capacity is 20% or greater before operation. If the battery capacity is less than 20%, only
a few splices can be made before the battery will be drained.
How to check remaining battery capacity
Turn the splicer ON. The battery is automatically identified as the power source and
the remaining battery capacity is displayed on the "READY" screen.
