Part 7: Maintenance

Pegasus Touch La ser 3D Printe r Care

To keep the body o f Pegasus clean, u se microfiber cloth to wipe the
outside. If you wan t shine for the co ve r, use p roducts spe cifically
recommended for acrylic (e .g. No vus # 1). Avo id produ cts that contain
ammonia (e .g. W index).

Please DO NOT cle an the co ver with isoprop yl a lcoho l sin ce it will cause
permanent damage to the acrylic.

Ne ver remo ve the build p latform with out first p lacing a 9 .5"x14.5 " cutting
board on top of the va t to pre vent resin drip s.

Ne ver remo ve the  vat before removing the build p latform to pre vent resin
damage to the mirror or ga lvanometers.

W ipe mirrors only with a d ry m icrofiber cloth. Ne ver atte mpt to clean the
galvo mirro rs o r th e first su rface 45 degree mirro r with a ny solvents o r
other liquid solutio ns as these will lea ve some streaking and you r p rint
performance will d egrade. You ma y u se  First Contact Po lymer solution to
clean mirro rs when  extremely dirty (

Removing c ured pieces from failed prints

In case of a failed print, you will need  to remo ve cu red  resin remnants
from the build tra y. Lightly run a soft rubber spatula  acro ss the bottom
surface of the tra y to find the pieces a nd dislodge them. Tweeze rs a re
neve r a good idea because the sha rp tips can damage th e silicone re lease
la yer.
