Appendix B: Warranty Statement
FSL3D warrantie s the Pegasus Touch 3D Laser printer for a base pe riod
of 90 days. Extend ed warranty pe riod s are a va ilab le at the time of
purchase.
Co vered pa rts:
The following parts are co ve red du ring the warranty perio d: lase r diode,
galvos, moto rs, po wer supply, linear rails, electron ics, to uchscreen
displa y
Not co ve red con su mable parts:
The following parts are considered co nsumable and are not co vered unde r
any wa rranty and n eed to be repla ced period ically:
a) Re sin: On ce cu red, resin cannot be reused. Ho we ver, uncured liqu id
resin can be reuse d for the next print. Do not return u se d resin to the
orig inal bottle to a void contamination. Alwa ys sto re unused resin in a
dark cab inet o r bottle. Unopened unused resin ca rries a 1 yea r warranty
and will be repla ce d free of charge if it cures in the bottle without light
expo sure (e xcludes shipping/hand ling charges).
b) VATs/Build tra y: W e estimate eve ry 2 -4L of resin the antistick surface
of the VAT will be consumed and the VAT will need to be replaced. T he
antistick la ye r of the tra y ma y beg in to cloud a fter man y p rints. To lim it
this and e xtend the life or the tra y, vary the printing location. You can
buy repla cement VATs from FSL3D.
c) Bu ild p latform: Constant remo ving parts from the build platform will
eventua lly wea r do wn the aluminum surface. W e estimate it to last 10L o r
more of printing. You may want to con sider spare build platforms if you
print / change re sin frequently. Spa re s platforms will a llo w to begin a ne w
print immediately a fter the pre vious print.
d) 45 degree First Surface Mirror : This mirro r should ne ver wea r out but if
resin falls on it the n it will likely need to be repla ced unle ss cleaned
immediately with first contact po lyme r solution
