The above NVO screen (Figure 14B) shows a Network Variable (NVO [0]). The NV shown is an SNVT_ph that has an
index of 125. This SNVT is a non-float type. The SNVT format is SNVT_ph.
1. Transmit Tx ID. A value of 1500 has been entered. This Tx ID must be the same Tx ID programmed to the
field transmitter.
2.
Transmitter Point Number.
A value of "2" has been entered. The NV value will be transmitted to the field re-
ceiver that matches the above Tx ID, and the value will be applied to the output point number 2 of that receiver.
The receiver must be programmed for point number 2.
3. Transmit Loss of Signal Timeout. A value of "160" has been entered. If the Frontier Gateway has not re-
ceived an updated value from the field transmitter within 160 seconds, the Gateway will set the "Loss of Sig-
nal" fault SNVT_switch to an active/on state. Refer to "Transmitter Lost Signal Response" below for additional
actions that will take place on a loss of signal.

Transmitted Point Type.
This value is set to "6," which is an analog type. Refer to Table 2 for more informa-
tion on types.
5. Transmitter Low Value Limit. This value is "5," which is what the Frontier Gateway expects to see as its low-
est value from the Frontier field transmitter. Refer to Table 2 for more information on limits.

Transmitter High Value Limit.
A value of "4090" has been entered. This is the value the Frontier Gateway
expects to see as its highest value from the Frontier field transmitter. Refer to Table 2 for more information on
limits.
7. Transmitter Lost Signal Response. This value sets how the Gateway will respond to a "Transmitter Loss of
Signal Timeout" condition. The value of 2 selects a condition that, on a loss of signal, the Gateway will force
a full-scale value to the network. Refer to Table 3 for more information.
